Committed to building a society that respects all forms of life

Reinventing the energy transition through innovation and strong local engagement.

Our business model is based on a circular economy and local roots. By sourcing local secondary raw materials, we foster a virtuous cycle that supports job creation, resource efficiency, and local energy independence.

Developing solutions that make sense, based on 3 pillars

  • Innovation & Environmental responsibility: significant reduction in our carbon footprint, solutions integrating the reuse of materials and recycling, innovative technologies for depollution and improvement of air quality, promotion of the circular economy at all levels of our activity.
  • Societal impact: production of renewable energy that drives meaningful, purpose-driven industry, local reindustrialization, support for development through the creation of non-relocatable, skilled jobs, fostering the fulfillment of our employees, active participation in the energy transition…
  • Responsible economic performance: local sourcing to control costs, process optimization, innovation at the heart of our actions, technological advances and the creation of sustainable value.

What drives us is the conviction that our day-to-day actions contribute to a sustainable future for all.

2014: an entrepreneurial and environmental vision

DELTALYS was founded by Charly Germain, driven by a dual ambition: to respond to environmental challenges and to be an entrepreneur. His meeting with researchers from INSA Lyon, specialized in waste treatment and pollution, marked the beginning of the journey,

DELTALYS then positioned itself as a consultant to producers and operators of recovery units to support them towards technical, economic and environmental optimization.

2015-2018: From prototype to industrial scale

DELTALYS focuses on developing and qualifying an alternative filtration solution that meets the technical, economic and environmental challenges of biogas recovery. This phase marked a turning point, with intensified R&D and ramp-up of industrialization, leading to the qualification of the ECOLYS solution.

Several pilots were deployed on customer sites, including PAPREC, SUEZ and VEOLIA, validating the technological and operational relevance of our solution.

DELTALYS establishes its production site in the Vallée de la Chimie near Lyon, enabling the transition to industrial scale.

2018: Large-scale deployment & development of the industrial tool

The business is experiencing significant development with the large-scale deployment of the ECOLYS solution in France, demonstrating the relevance of the technologies developed and the strategic importance of local production and short circuits in a challenging economic context.

2024: Subsidiary development in North America

Today, DELTALYS is surrounded by solid financial partnerships, including Angelor, which has been supporting the company since 2017, Tilt Capital Partners (Siparex Group) and Swen Capital Partners. As part of this growth dynamic, DELTALYS is structuring its international expansion with the strategic opening of.

The outlook

The company is pursuing its development with the ambition of becoming a leader in renewable gas filtration. Our core expertise lies on the purification and valorization of biogas, while continuing to diversify our range of eco-innovative products. This strategy positions DELTALYS as a key player in the creation of sustainable solutions for the future of energy.

Investing for the future: industrial expansion & innovation

With this ambition in mind, we are implementing an ambitious investment plan aimed at strengthening our position as a major player in environmental innovation. This strategy can be broken down into several areas:

  • Diversify our business and territories through the development of new eco-innovative products
  • Increase our industrial capacity by installing new production and automation lines
  • Expand our production facilities in the Vallée de la Chimie by repurposing former industrial sites.
  • Actively participate in the reindustrialization of the region by creating skilled jobs and developing local sectors of excellence
  • Strengthen France’s energy sovereignty by proposing solutions that make the most of local resources

This investment initiative is backed by BPIfrance as part of the “Première Usine” scheme of the France 2030 plan, in recognition of our contribution to strategic and innovative production in France.
